Smartie reported "Windows Service Center" with the number +12132213528 as Cost trap
Genifer and irina-
How much did you pay them to fix the problem they created by hacking into your computer when you did what they said? This is a scam. They have been reported to the district attorney. It is sad that people believe that received good service from thieves. -

Investigator Phyllis reported Albert/Windows with the number +12132213528 as Cost trap
"Albert" had a very, very heavy Indian accent; was difficult to understand. Claimed to be from Windows and said my computer was infected and asked if I had been getting error messages. The odd thing is that he had my name correct and it matched my phone number. However, when I first picked up the phone, I heard background noise (kids). I asked him where he was calling from and he readily said Los Angeles. Something inside just told me this isn't on the up and straight. So, I asked him for his phone number. I did not give him any information; I did not turn on my computer when asked to. I am glad I did not.

Sally reported claimed to be from Microsoft with the number 2132213528 as Cost trap
This person called me, claimed he was from Microsoft and my computer was infected with some virus. Gave me advices what to do and to download some stuff and wanted personal information on me - at that point I realized something was wrong. Didn´t download it in the end, din´t tell them anything, fortunately. I read about that "pc doctor" fraud on this blog. thanks for the info! cheers
