got a friend request by a stranger, she called herself lisa. after i added her, she almost immediately wrote a message to thank me for adding her but then she said she had to go and that i should give her a call at this number. i haven't her from her since, so she's off my contact list but interesting - seems like i'm not the only one!

Some girl called Lisa something contacted me on facebook - or rather sent me a friend request. I didn't think much of it, so I added her. She then contacted me again saying that she liked my photo and that she now had to logg of but I should give her a call at this number. I've heard some similar story from a friend who also added someone unknown at Facebook and then tried him to get to call a certain number. I guess it's an ongoing scam and people should beware of all Lisas, Ashleys and Jessicas who try to "befriend" them on fb.
Robert replied 9/3/13, 10:12 AMIt was "Jessica" for me, but other than that, most of the story is the same for me. I guess that really goes to show that you should think twice before you add some stranger even on facebook...

Have had the same "problem" - some stranger calling herself Jessica contacted me on facebook with a friend request. I added her without any further thought, only to get pretty much the same message as you guys - some random blablabla about my facebook page and then that i should text her at this number. found it weird, so i didn't do anything other than google the number out of curiosity. Guess I was right not to trust her.
