I received a telephone call from the phone number listed above. I did not answer either call. Most likely the call was made from a stolen phone to avoid their call from being traced to the real party.
The first call is from a guy with an Indian / Hindi accent, claiming he's with Technical Support from Microsoft Windows. He was dumb enough to use two different alias names in response to her question. You can view a funny video that a woman made as the conversation took place when her phone was called too (see YouTube link below). Twice the woman asked the man for his name. He was dumb enough to use two different alias names in response to her question.

The other prank call I received was from this same number, 206-708-2849. This time he left a voice message (using a disguised voice) saying he was with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

He said they were receiving notices of encrypted files being sent from my computer that were spreading the mass virus that is happening around the world. I decided to google the number and came upon these complaints. Won't answer calls from this number again.

Got a call from a strange number man claiming to be from US government, with financial aid for me, had my correct info but I did not give it to him, when I asked how he got my info he started rambling something I could barely understand, I put him on hold for a min and when I clicked back over, he was spouting off a saying hello, you mother f*****, your a mother f*****! I then said you just called me a mother f*****?! He shouted at me and said no no you don't f****** understand! I told him that this was a scam and fraudulent call and it was going to be reported and I hung up! 20min later I received a call from this 2067082849 number and I googled it and found this thread of complaints the first number that called couldn't be googled it seemed to be an international number then the foreign man calls from this number with no message, then a while later I get yet another call this time with a blocked number asking the same questions , about finicial aid! I ask this man , what business he worked for and he immediately hung up on me! Ha! Scam Alert! This is ridiculous!

The most recent scam from this number is that the caller claims to be calling from the US Treasury, and threatens a lawsuit, or having to appear before a 'magistrate' or grand jury. Total scam. Do NOT answer, and file a complaint on the TIGTA, IRS, and FTC WEB sites.

I've gotten repeat calls from unknown numbers and this one. It was about 15 calls in an hour! I finally answered and there was an man with an accent claiming to be with the U.S. Government's Health & Human Services department saying that I qualify for a grant in the amount of $14,556.18. I told him I wasn't interested and got demanding that I continue to talk to him. I listened and told him I was still not interested. He insisted that I speak to his grant account manager and told me some approval I'd # and direct phone number of (206)204-4863 to the grant manager. He then wanted to know if I wanted my monies on my bank card, credit card, direct deposit into my bank account or pre-paid card & wanted my info to those accounts! Someone claiming to be a John Carter also with a thick, I'm guessing Indian accent, came on the line. He started in with the same hoopla. I then told him that this was the third time I was saying this & that I was not interested. He didn't like that and asked if it was because I was financially stable. I told him yes and that maybe the government should put this money towards something more useful and that's when he started yelling and asking if I make more than 10k per month. I told him again that I was still not interested in his "offer" and he proceeded to yell at me and tell me he was going have my social security blocked! I just repeated myself again and told him to not contact me again and he hung up.

hey have called my fax machine 7 times in the last 24 hours. Not sure what they want, but obviously this is a robocall as it fails to understand the fax handshake, obviously.The number is a hack number and traces back to nothing. I have a virus waiting on them if they insist on bugging me though. LOL. They are breaking Indiana state law by even contacting me without prior knowledge nor looking at the DO NoCall list.

Caller ID Washington. A strong Indian accent threatened me with being brought to court. I didn't answer - message was left and very hard to understand. I'm not sure if he was claiming to be with the IRS, but still it was very threatening. Block this scammer!

These A.H.s called my mother claiming to be my son, Called her Grandma and knew my sons name. Claimed he was in an accident with a broken leg and arrested for DUI. asked her to wire him money
She was, luckily smart enough to ask some questions to trip them up.

I received a call from an East Indian male from the number of 206-708-2849. He first asked for the wrong person, than proceeded to tell me my computer had been hacked an a virus is now on my computer. I told this man several times that my computer is fine and he has the wrong person. He repeatedly cut me off telling me " hold up mam" let me access your computer at no charge to help you fix it. I asked him several times not to call me again. He started getting aggressive with me and that is when I hung up.

After she called back after i hung up, i continued to tell her i don't need help and say thanks for the concern and she proceeded to tell me to go to hell.

They have called me for several days with different numbers in the past 2 weeks. I asked them politely not to call me with their scam bs..he stated he will call me everyday until I wire them 2100.00. I then told them I refused, and he said the police will be at my house in 45 minutes. They were not. Now they have switched numbers and call from the 206 number, when I attempt to call them back, it says "all circuits are busy" with really bad static.
