When you answer a call from a telemarketer, there may not be anyone on the other end for a few seconds because the calls are dialed by their computer system. It only puts the call through to their telemarketer when it detects that the call has been answered, which takes a few additional seconds. I find this a great way to detect telemarketer calls - that 3 or 4 second delay. You learn to be fast and hang up immediately.

This number called and said "Behaved for Scotia Bank". When I said if we have an issue would call our bank selves, no need any unknown call. She replied "Oh, are you not customer of Scotia Bank?"

Caller pretended to be from Neilson. Asked a bunch of questions promising a paid focus group. Then told me I didn't qualify. Bogus, they are skewing the samples for their studies. Don't answer, don't participate.

First thing they wanted to do was to verify account numbers etc. Indian lady voice told her nice try scammer you picked the wrong number. I'm a Federal Peace Officer which is my occupation. I than did the old disconnect on her.

Have received calls from this number. When I called it, not during business hours, due to time difference as I' m in the West, recording said it's Nielsen Consumer Co. & that they may have called for a survey. It (recording/options to press #) seems legit if a person is into doing that. I am not so they continue to be on my "reject call list" which automatically gets cancelled on my phone.

May 3 2014 call display unknown name at 1:37pm. Typical suspicious, why they would call go to answering machine and hang up no message left.
