Called me once yesterday, which I didn't pick up. Today I did pick up. Woman on the phone (sounds Asian) says she is conducting a survey for xxx company (I've never heard of) about the oncoming Ontario election. I questioned why the number is from Montreal. She just said she's using a Montreal number, and she is calling from Manitoba (or Winnipeg, I forget which). I'm curious to see if it's a scam so I continued to talk with her as she read all survey questions. All questions aside from my year of birth and household revenue range (which I didn't give the truth) were about Ontario election.

I did sign up with some survey companies, but not Ipsos. I live in the United States, and I won't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize. I have the number blocked through my phone, but it still rings once and hangs up. They call 3-4 times a day, very annoying. I will call Time Warner Cable and have them block the number. I'm on a do not call list.

the old scams are the best scams.. in this day you must know how to block unwanted incoming calls. there are many free apps for your phone that do the trick. and for home phone most companies have online add to block list instructions. super easy, once you add them you never hear from 'em again..

They Keep calling, all day 4 to 5 times. I have caller ID and I let the answering machine, pick it up. They never leave a message. I feel if it's important, they will leave a message. I don't know what these people want, or why they keep calling. It's annoying!

this number has called me multiple times aroud the same time each time. i dont ever answer. if you call your phone company and there there harassing you can have them blocked. im on the national do not call list and yet im still being called.

They called twice asking for the man of the house pretending that they want to conduct market research cancer related interview which is supported by the National Institute of Health. After wasting my time, the caller said that their computer shows the quota for interviewing men was just filled out and they say that they prefer to speak to the lady of the house. In 30 minutes, they called again and repeated the same routine this time telling at the end of "the NIH based survey" that the quota for female answers was also fulfilled and they terminate a call. What is behind such scam ?
Informer replied 12/16/15, 7:13 PMIt isn't really a scam. They are actually conducting surveys. You can visit their website. HOWEVER, they might sell your phone number to real scammers for money. So be careful out there! -

I´ve been getting calls for a couple of weeks ago and now yesterday. I don´t know why this number called me. I´ve never seen this number before. I didn´t answer the phone, when a number is unknown to me.

They call at least twice a day. I do not answer unfamiliar numbers. They listen to the outgoing voice mail and then hang up without leaving a message so it looks like there is a message for me. I am on a do not call list.
