I have been receiving numerous calls from these low-life predators who ate strictly sold out to Satan..they call all day on my cell phone 20 times or more from the same number or alternate numbers from Illinois, Rhode Island, Texas, PA, and even a connection in my hometown...They have numerous titles, Attorney General from California, Sheriff Officer, FBI, Policeman..they search the internet for any recent activities you do...apply for a credit card, a loan, etc..They have all your information after this and have the nerve to repeat it to you and harass you ...oh yes also at your employer with the intent to get you fired!!!!...we must band together and stop these criminals who take pleasure in this...Be Aware Folks of various numbers such as 773 312 3493; 516 515 3939; 917 460 4984: 732 609 0919; 732 562 2300; 847 454 7897; 312 473 7940; 732 609 1728 and 713 481 5404...There will be a day when they get caught...

Calls 2 to 3 times from a 630 area code number. I block a number and the next time they call swiitching around the digits nnothng works to stop them. I am on the Do Not Call lit and it doesn't matter. Annoying.We don't answer numbers we don't recognize. We are on the do not call list. Doesn't seem to make any difference anymore.,Calls daily hang up before answering machine turns on .annoying wish they would stop calling or at least have the courtesy, to leave a message

Called claiming to be from Telus (our local phone provider) to update my discount with them. I didn't really get out of them what they needed from me but the whole call seemed very fishy as they could not explain why there were calling me or what they even wanted from me. They started to verify my information and then he "transferred" me to a supervisor. He handed the phone physically to someone else and he eventually hung-up on me because I was getting upset at him for not being able to answer my questions.

They were very friendly. Said they were calling for a police and fire person fund for those hurt in action of serving the public. Asked for a donation. Not on phone, said they would send me a prepaid return envelope. Not sure. Sounded legit but it was the same number as the ones above commented. They were also confused on my po box. Asked me several times questioning "Po Box?".

All you can do is block these calls. Nuisance. If someone gets hurt rushing to get your phone ( especially at night figuring it was an family emergency ) and you do a lawsuit against your carrier - publicize it and have people join in. Phone carriers wont do anything to stop these calls because they make money off of them also. Ex. If you pay for phone usage / text etc. Depletes your time and nationwide people will purchase additional time. Pass this on to everyone

A woman called saying that my computer was at risk, and if I turned my laptop on she'd show me the web pages that were trying to break in. I googled her number and found attempted scams. Not just PCs "Your copier has a problem" along with other ploys. I bet a bunch of users tired of these snakes(sorry about impugning real snakes) could flood the scammers with millions of phone calls.

Got a call from this number by a Indian guy telling me a won a $7000 government grant that I could go to Walmart and ask to pick up or buy a Visa card at Walmart and have them load it up. Caller knew my email old address and asked for my new address, age and if I was married or single. They told me to call the US government in Washington DC at 206-201-2521, I looked up that number and it's a Seattle number which is also a scam number. He told me i had only 30 minutes to call them and confirm the grant. I didn't call the other number back then about 40 minutes later this number called me back saying that they transferred my info to the US government grant manager at 206-201-2521 and that they were awaiting my call. I could hear other people on the phones in the background as well. THIS IS A SCAM.

This is the scariest thing I have ever had happen in my adult life. He called saying I was approved for a loan then he start reading all of my personal information he even know my bank balance and my debit card. I have canceled my debit card and may even change my bank acct number if there is any fraud. I told him I didn't want anything to do with him or the loan please get rid of my information. He then started asking me very personal question refusing to let me off the phone. He asked, "Is your ass small or large?" Ugh!!! I finally hung up on him, but he continues to call me from different numbers.

This number keeps calling me and doesn't leave a message. After reading other people's post here, I called the number to see who answered. A message from the phone company came on and it said "this number has not been assigned yet". They are making up this number so that they can't be traced.
