Stating my student loan forgiveness application has been approved, with either partial or full forgiveness. States he is " Mark" agent number 3077, does not leave a last name or state what company he is calling from, seemed like a scam to me so searched his number- apparently I am not the only one. Do not give this guy any information!!!

Phone never rang. Got a voicemail from a totally different number than the call back number from a guy named “Mark” calling about “student loan forgiveness”. I don’t have student loans. So as if that’s not sketchy enough about an hour later got a voicemail no missed call from a different number. The guy had the same exact voice but this time his name was Michael and he called for “debt collection” lol. Different callback number too. I don’t know what scam this guy is trying to pull but beware. Definitely a scammer.

A man who said his name was "Mark" called my mother from (909)- 506-3308 which is a Claremont number and stated that her student loans were forgiven. She doesn't have any student loans. He asked me when I called if I had any student loans. Definitely a SCAM. He falsely claimed he was the Student Loan Department. He gave a fake ID number. Block this caller. Do not call him back.
