Investigator Called for my minors hospital vi reported Medical scam with the number 8775705841 as Debt collection company
Wanted to upgrade my health insurance info so my child’s hospital visit is covered. Caller stated they were having computer issues and would need to manually get all my info. I expressed that I didn’t feel comfortable with call and he said ok and hung up.
ANON replied 12/14/22, 2:30 PMTHIS IS NOT A SCAM CALL. IT IS A LEGIT COMPANY THAT PROVIDES HELP TO THOSE, IN SPECIFIC MEDICAID. PEOPLE HAVE THE RIGHT TO DECLINE. DO NOT TALK IF YOU DON'T KNOW. WHOEVER IS SEEING THIS, ASK YOU HOSPITAL FIRST AND GIVE THEM THIS NUMBER AND THEY WILL CONFIRM IT IS A LEGIT COMPANY THAT WORKS IN ALL THE STATES WITH HOSPITALS TO HELP PATIENTS WITH NO INSURANCE.
IF THEY CALL AND YOU HAVE INSURANCE, YOU JUST LET THEM KNOW. THEY RELAY INSURANCE INFORMATION TO THE HOSPITALS SO EVERYTHING IS UPDATED... THEN YOU WONDER WHY PEOPLE COMPLAIN ABOUT THEIR BILLS. -
