She called very concerned about a factory warranty on which she claims she called several times. She said it was important I call back today. She never mentioned a company name. Smelled like a phish to me. I checked here to verify my suspicion.

Rec'd voicemail today, saying she was very concerned I haven't responded previously to her mailers, and I needed to respond to call back today in order to keep my file open. She called from 949-989-5905, but left a call back number of 888-218-0804. I will not be calling back.
TWI replied 4/29/21, 12:20 PMjust got called from that same number 949-989-5905. was the same voice mail but it sounded like it started in the middle of a sentence. Her enthusiastic voice made me question this so I googled the call back number 888-218-0804. saw all these complaints -

“Um _____ actually called you several times and ____ also sent out um if you mailers to your home so I'm not quite sure why we haven't heard back from you yet in any case is important that we speak to you today in order to keep your file open so please call me at 18882180804 thank you so much for your needed attention to this matter and I hope we can connect soon bye for now…”
No info about who I am, the company, anything. When I called back, I asked what company they were calling from and got hung up on. Called again, and they asked what’s my car info/ warranty info. I said I didn’t have a car and he said “Well BYE THEN!!” *click.... Don’t fall for stupidity... -

Got a voicemail from a breathy lady named Katie saying that there was a factory warranty on my vehicle that she needed to talk to me about. Said that she’s called multiple times & sent multiple letters to my house so she’s not sure why I haven’t called back but that I needed to call ASAP. Seems like she’s giving everybody the same 1-2 step routine. Don’t fall for this scam.

Glad everyone has reported this number. Lady leaves an urgent message that no name company had not heard from me. Called back thinking it could have been legit. Ask what the name of the company is she represents, responds by asking me the make and model of my car, I respond I will not disclose any of my personal information, she responds with “ok shut up, goodbye”. Yeah okay, good luck with that loser scam company.

Continuous phone calls i dont answer. Katie finally left a message and told me how important it was to call back about my vehicle warranty or theyd close my file (i wish they would). She said they have sent letters to my home and that its urgent. I knew it was a scam so i ignored it until i saw that number pop up again. didnt answer but called back the number Katie left on my VM. A guy answered and by this time i was irritated and told him to stop calling me and that i dont appreciate scam artists and non legit company harassment. he got very angry and said Im missing out then hung up. I wanted to find out the name of their supposed company so i called back and he said i was rude! LOL. I asked what they were constantly calling me for and a name of the company...he refused to tell me. I asked to talk to his superior and he straight ut said NO. I asked for his supervisors name and he said "God".

Same as others. A man answered when I called and I told him I don’t need what they have and he said he needed to transfer me, and you could clearly hear him HAND OVER the phone. Lol. A lady came on and was telling me I owed 195 and if I was using a visa or MasterCard. I said I didn’t owe anything and she argued with me for about 10 minutes. I asked multiple times what company this was and every time they said something different. I said I hadn’t purchased anything so I don’t owe them anything and she said that I checked a box on something when I purchased my car. I told her I had bought an extended warranty from carmax and she told me no I didn’t. Lol. I could hear a man in the background yelling at someone else on the phone. YELLING ANGRILY at another “customer” about his email.

It's an auto warranty scam.
Sadly, if you dont call back they still don't close their imaginary file, because I've received this call multiple times. -
