got a call today 3/21/24, he claimed that he is working at AT&T fraud department. and said someone used my personal information opened a cell phone 917-495-6039 ( check this number and it is owned by someone in the US currently and the owner is 73 years old, probably does not know the number is being used for scam) and the person is in China Changsha City using the phone for scam, and he even connected me with a police office in Changsha (he claimed), and the other person tried to trick me to do a Zoom call. I said I don't know how to use Zoom, he said he can teach me how to install it on my computer or my cell phone. I said I will figure it out and call him and he gave me the phone number 0731-8258-7827 (saying this is his office number, it is a fake number), And he also said he will call me back and I said ok then he called from a US number 318-258-7827 (cannot find this one too on google search). I checked all the phone number and either they are fake number or no records of it. Be aware of it and don't fall for it!!

Claim as an ATT fraud department Rep, and told me that someone stealed my ID to open an ATT new wireless line. Called ATT directly to verify that they didn’t try to call me.
