Called thinking it was Google but it was an elaborate scam to try to empty my bank account using screen sharing. They said I was hacked and needed to check my bank statement. Because I thought it was a legit Google number, I almost complied with the request.

Samsung display says Mountian View CA. since i'm in Aus, and i know no-one there, i didn't answer. they let a message (twice now) that sounds like pocket call... can't make out what the chatter is saying

Called and said they are from Google Finance. I asked further what is the company name, and she said company name is Google Finance. So i know it is not true. Google Finance is a product not a registered company.

Saw the number with the Samsung display saying the call was from Mountain View, CA.
I chose not to answer and I figure anyone who calls international and doesn't leave a message is not legit.

Called and said that they are from Google Finance. When I repeated "Google Finance?" she said "Yes, that's the name of the company". She went on to ask questions without checking with me whether I'm available for the 'survey' at that time. I told her that I'm not available as polite as possible and cut the line.
