Spearfishing Call. Said someone tried to Zelle $ from my Chase account. Zelle $3000 and $2000 to someone. Then gave me a Case number and code. Transferred me to someone else who picked up the phone and asked for the case number. Hung up. Figured they would call back if legit. They never did. It was never on my bank account.

Very advanced spearfishing call. Based on allegedly fraudulent zelle activity. They claim to transfer you from Chase to Zelle and ask for a code. There were clues like they know that their number comes up as Chase and they started talking about Amazon data breaches which they would never discuss. The clue came off when they said I had to enter a specific number in the "Add" section of Zelle and I was like no way. Said my account would be down for 60 days and it works immediately now.
