Male caller, sounded middle aged, midwestern US accent. At times the voiced sounded hollow like AI does.
Claimed to be from Bank of America regarding a letter they send about security compliance in July 2024. Said to call him back at 509-505-2881. Distracted him a bit then asked him who he was calling from again and he said he was with Clover Account Merchant Services and to call him back at 1-844-253-3707.
We don't owe them any money, and the account is in good standing, so there's no reason for them call.
We haven't received either a letter or an email. Slotting this as a scam.
This is the same voice that left a voicemail via a different phone number to call back a different number than the ones in today's phone call.
