The call stated her name was Comilla and that she was from United Health Care. Asked for my elderly mother by her name and when told that she was not able to come to the phone and how could I help her she said she would call back at a later time. Unknown - 844-316-8434.
I contacted UHC and spoke to an agent. they said the number was from the prescription renewal/refill department. This is utter bull. according to the web it comes from a call center in India and has a bad rap.
The agent from UHC said we could ignore the calls from that number. I told them that number was being blocked. -

Arlene wants me to know that this is recorded for training purposes, but she needs my ph # and DOB, address and member # for verification. I asked for 'escalations department' and she was dumbfounded, and states that she does not have that number, she will transfer me to customer service instead (dogs barking in background, along with someone giving her instructions how to handle call). Arlene has heavy accent (Malaysian, Hawai'i ..)
