   Received a VM saying it was Mr. Cooper, my mortgage company, identifying me by name and asking me to call 855-251-8759 and enter a personal message code. The call ended by saying "We are a debt collector." I called the main Mr. Cooper number and their system said my account is up to date. The number that the call actually came from was 888-480-2432 which I Googled and found out is a Mr. Cooper phone number. Other research indicated that this is an attempt by Mr. Cooper to try to sell you refinancing and/or other mortgage products by getting you to call them thinking there's a problem, when there actually isn't. I just went through another issue with Mr. Cooper because they grossly overpaid an insurance premium from my escrow account and they couldn't explain how that happened. I have to say that Mr. Cooper is the WORST mortgage servicing company I've ever had and I would never do business with them if I had a choice.
   I can't believe they'd stoop to such a low level to get you to call them to try to pitch other mortgage products and services. Shame on you Mr. Cooper!!!

   Left VM saying they were "Mr. Cooper" (my mortgage co.) and asking for a call back with a personal verification code. Ended message with "we are a debt collector" which is standard for a collection call. My mortgage is current.

   Left message stating they are Mr. Cooper and to call back ant 855-251-8759 and gave a special code to enter. My account is fine. Attempting to reach Mr Cooper by their actual number to report the call.

   Mr. Cooper has an auto dialer that is soliciting refinances and seller options. It is not a scam and it doesn't mean you are late on your payment, just another annoying solicitation.

   I received a message saying they were from Mr. Cooper and said “call us at 855-251-8759 you'll be asked to enter personal message code 514468 again our number is 855-251-8759 and enter personal message code 514468 thank you from Mr. Cooper we are a debt collector…” My account is in good standing and Mr. Cooper said they never called me.

    Left message claiming to be from Mr Cooper. Asking me to call a different number. I verified with Mr Cooper they claimed they never called me as my morgage is in good standings.

    Left a voicemail on my wife's phone, asking for me by name, and stating they are from Mr. Cooper. At the end "we are a debt collector" is thrown in.
    Mr. Cooper does NOT know my wife's number, and my mortgage portal says everything is fine with my account. FRAUD
