   As others have said, Comcast calling after a service call. If you call it back and select option #3, ypu can opt out of all surveys and marketing calls.

   I ma glad I read the messages above. I had a Comcast Tec servicing the line today. It is a rule in my house that we do not answer call from unknown caller. To bad they are so secretive about calling their client.

   This is in response to the other commenter. Yeah, it shows up as unknown caller on my phone. It left a 1 second empty voicemail on my phone, which is how I got the number. So yes, they are being secretive.

   Everyone is saying that this number belongs to Comcast. I got two calls tonight from the number, didn't answer, no voicemail. Funny thing is, I don't have any sort of Comcast services. Never have.

   Caller leaves name as "Doug Arbittier" Is not rusted as the name is unknown to me, no known business relationship, and called twice but did not leave a message.
   
   I am assuming the name and number can be easily spoofed, as the call appears to originate in Pennsylvania.

    This company has been harassing me and they are NOT Comcast, they are a third party sub-contractor. I accidentally dialed a wrong number for Comcast and reached these people when I was looking for the legit Comcast number online and they have not stopped bothering me. They also call from an 855 number saying they are Comcast but they are NOT. Don't be fooled!!!

    Numerous calks. Caller ID says Pennsylvania, and once it showed this number. Because of this site, I found out it was Comcast. It never leaves a message and the time my husband answered, he couldn't understand the person's thick accent. Not sure if it's a survey or marketing call, but they've continued to call and never leave a message. Today they called at 9:30am, while I was in church. Luckily, I left my phone in the car.

    I just had Comcast service yesterday and believe the others about the caller. It came up as "UNKNOWN" on Caller ID, so I didn't answer, though. The number came up while listening to my Cricket Visual Vmail, which is the only way I would have made it to this page. Tech was awesome, but Comcast is staffed by a bunch of IDIOTS.

    Annoying. Had to search out who the # belongs to. Unrelenting repeated calls. No I.D., no message left. I already told them when we began our service we do not want survey calls. Irritating.

    Here's my solution. I had a Comcast tech here yesterday and then a call from this number at 9 a.m. today. I read this thread and called the number. It seems to be the company that does their service surveys. The recording prompted me to hit #1 if I wanted to opt out of future calls, which I did. It seems like a legit Comcast situation.

    If Comcast wants me to answer a survey call should show Comcast as the caller, other wise the call will go unanswered. Waste of money, passed onto the consumer I'm sure they don't do it for free. As far as the 30 min notification , of follow-up, forgotten as soon as the message ended.
