   this number is a real number for cash app accounts, if you do not hace cash app but your phone number is new to you your recierving some one elses info call cash app report so your number is removed from the other person account and you will not reciev any more ,,,, repeat this is not spam this is the samew number thats been sending info about my business cash app and personal cash app accounts

   FIX IT LIST SERVICE is correct in what he says, though the report was from 2023, it still holds true today. It is a legitimate number that Cash App uses to alert you of transactions made with your card and I know this to be true because I have an account with them as well.
   Just thought I would put that out there!

   Scam!! They match with you on a dating app, send explicit photo that you did not ask for, claim to be underage, then fabricate a story, another person calls claiming to be police to steal money from you. Other numbers in this scam are 737-615-5793 and 502-308-4883.

   Your phone number was a number that was associated with a cash app account prior to you. Just call cash app, they'll take care of it.

    This number was used to inform me when I linked my card and again when asked to confirm the name on my account.
    As others have said, even if it is legit (as was in my case) scammers can spoof almost any number to convince you to click a link or to respond and be charged. Never click a link or reply to anyone you do not expect to contact you. If it's legit, you can almost always confirm by logging into the official website and check for notifications related to what was sent to you.

    Just never received this type of message before.

    Legit cash app notification text, if you don’t have cash app and you get a text from this number it’s not a scam, unless it includes a link, then wherever you have it or not don’t click on it, obviously. Never ever click a link that you didn’t just request yourself! Even if it’s from this number I’m saying is legit, scammers can spoof their number and make it say it’s coming from cash app, cash app won’t send you a link you didn’t just request, they just send notifications about activity on your account. Any message saying you need to take action by following a link that you didn’t expect to get should never ever be trusted. If you think it’s a real notification, don’t follow the link, navigate to the website yourself in the browser, or open the app yourself on your phone, don’t trust links! Except verification/password reset links that you expect to get! The more urgent and concerning the message seems, the less you should trust it!

    Texts and calls from Cash App regarding recent purchases, withdrawals and deposits.
    
    If you’re receiving text messages from this number, and you do not use Cash App; let me explain. Yes, it’s from the official Cash App text messaging service. However some users may be using your number for their Cash App account (maybe they switched numbers and you got their old one, etc). Fear not, this doesn’t affect your bank or wallet at all, you’ll just continue receiving annoying messages. Try calling Cash App to have your number removed.

    Text message said that my $1.99 charge for Google YouTube SU was pending on cash card. Indeed it was pending there! I locked my card immediately, knowing that I had not signed up for youtube. I have checked everywhere, I ha e no pending subscriptions for this on Google, YouTube, etc. There is no link to click on, but it's a great reminder to stay vigilant!
